Sorry for the big timegap, my mind has been located everywhere but the right place. Today I bought myself a ds lite. And decided that maybe it's time to leave crowe's bookreader for gba and aim for something subrendered for the DS. Unfortunately google did not show many results. But among those results i found out that there's not many solutions aviable for ebook reading on the psp either.

So i decided to share with me my PSPeBook software which makes it easy to read ebooks throught the psp browser, meaning this shizz works for unmodded post 2.0 units.

here ya go: pspEbook.py

What it does? It splits a text file into small htmlfiles each symbolizing a psp-page and adds a "next" and "prev" link at the top. So all you need to do is to place your cursor at the "next" link, lean back read a page and press the X button on your psp to flip the page. Quite nifty ehy?

Let's hope google catalouges this post so people will be able to find this program.

But in truth this program works for any device with a web-browser that can browse locally stored files. You just need to adjust the number of chars per page value to fit your screen. Hell a friend of mine even reads books with his mobile phone with the help of this script.
