The Chronicles of Gor by John Norman, quite an entertaining
piece of litterature.

This piece is inspired from the first book, when the hero "Tarl Cabot" travels on his tarn to the city of Ar.
Given that Gor is a man’s world and full of barbarians, I imagined tarl as the classical brawling hauberk-hero. And now I also noticed that I forgot to give him a weapon…

Also it was quite a long time ago I read theese series, so I remember but vaguely what the land looked like and that a tarn was an overgrown hawk.
