Hello dear readers and nurbelquards. I’ve been neglecting my duties again. However I will now try to summarize a report.
Time’s been flying by lately, situation normal all fucked up. However I’ve been drawing quite a bit but even tough I had several post candidates I never got to the actual posting.
But what I believe is the most important manifestation right now is the port of Venus to NDS, so let’s focus the report unto that.
I have a friend called henke who I’ve known since I was a kid. Even tough we grew up at different places and did’t meet eachother for several years we ended up with the same interests, code, music & art.
So finally after 2 years of parallell work we’ve begun our first cooperative project.

It all started when I was exploring the third dimension on the DS and asked henke if I could borrow some code from his 3d java engine (Venus). While I was halfway through porting his VGD-model loader he joined up with me and begun porting his Matrix4f class. We continued rewriting his project into c++ and at this stage we’ve got most of the core done. Still got a few bugs here and there but they’re sure to vaporize soon. Splitting the responsibility of a project sure makes it easer, and alot faster.
Once we’re done with both 3d/2d and sound we’re probably gonna go split ways as we both have our own game ideas..
I myself will continue the platform sidescroller "shadow dash" or if you’d rather have it "ninja rump". I’ll try to post an update onto this subject. For now enjoy some concept art.
